Covid Update

STAY INFORMED

GENERAL INFORMATION ON DAY CARE:

Status 18.12.2021

Up to now, the 3G rule generally only applied to events in day care centres for children and curative day care centres or on the basis of house law. From 24 November 2021, the 3G rule will apply across the board. This means: Parents and other third parties may only enter the premises of day-care centres for children and curative education if they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested. This also applies to accompanying the child during the settling-in phase. Please show us your certificate without being asked at the reception before you go with your child to the group for the settling-in period.

However, the 3G rule does not apply to the drop-off and pick-up of children, as the stay is only for a very short period of time.

This regulation is anchored in the current Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance and applies from 24 November 2021.

18.12.2021:

Due to the current sharp rise in the number of infections in Munich, all Munich daycare centers must return to care in fixed groups as of Monday, November 15, 2021, according to the general decree of November 12, 2021.

Children not enrolled in school and school-age children are always considered tested under 3G and 3G plus. 2G does not apply to children under the age of twelve.

The rules regarding attendance of sick children apply unchanged. Children may not currently receive care from us if:

– Have a SARS-CoV-2 infection with symptomatology,

– a SARS-CoV-2 infection without symptoms is present,

– the child is in quarantine, or

– a family member is documented to have COVID-19 and is in quarantine.

In addition, parents of children not enrolled in school must be aware of the following:

– For children who wish to attend their facility despite mild symptoms (e.g., cold, mild cough, etc.), a confirmation from the parents that a self-test was performed at home prior to attending daycare and that the test was negative is sufficient. You can download the form for the required confirmation under this link.

– If, on the other hand, a child is more seriously ill (e.g. with fever, sore throat or earache, or a severe cough), the following applies: The child may return to the daycare center healthy or still with mild symptoms. However, a negative PCR or PoC antigen test is required for return.

A doctor’s note is generally not required in addition to the confirmation or proof of testing.

The well-known clear protection and hygiene requirements continue to apply: You as parents and

parents and guardians must wear an FFP2 mask when entering the Zuckertag.

Information for parents about the self-test

Due to the Corona situation, we have staggered our settling-in periods. Therefore, we are currently still a small group with a total of 15 children. Therefore, our daycare children are currently still cared for in a single, joint group. In this way, your children will not have to get used to a new situation. Should there (have to) be any changes in this context, we will of course inform you as soon as possible.
